Ananda has been in Brighton for more than 30 years. Our first shop opened in Gloucester Road in 1972 and we have traded successfully in the North Laine ever since.
We have been purchasing in Java since the early 1980s and importing furniture for over ten years. We have built close and creative relationships with our suppliers, resulting in Ananda featuring a wide range of colonial, traditional and contemporary furniture which constantly evolves. To complement our furniture we have a fine selection of traditional textiles from the Indonesian archipelago, enhanced by a wide range of decorative accessories, mirrors, lighting, tribal kilims and folk art.
