Unique Brighton fashion show screening hailed a huge success

On Friday 26th September, Unique Brighton retailers teamed up to produce a spectacular fashion show that was projected in the city centre in front of hundreds of people.
City Centre Manager, Soozie Campbell, spoke with Current Mayor, Garry Pelzer Dunn at the event. In reaction to what he thought of the show, he said ,'[Brighton is] a vibrant city, vibrant people, vibrant fashion, what more could you ask for?'. The original outdoor catwalk show was due to go ahead on the 31st August, but was cancelled due to bad weather. Undaunted by the wind and rain, organisers then filmed the show and projected the stunning results on to a city centre wall. Event Manager, Soozie Campbell said, '[the show was] a real case of opportunity out of adversity and also the businesses pulling together to do something that they couldn't have done by themselves, so a real joint effort.' A video clip of the interview is available by clicking here at ITV Local.
